Redang Escape 3

Day 1 (11/5/07)
Took night bus at 10pm from hentian pudu..thank you for chia wai fetching us there..waited for our bus about half an hour...the 'coordinator' of the station keeps talking like a DJ or a horse racing reporter.. " Bus transnational, double decker sudah sampai ..sekarang..nombor xxxx!...." Non stop reporting..which is cool..hehe..and yes we rode on the double decker bus..my first time..nice! The seat wasn't that comfy tho..and the aircon is killing me!! i was freezing badly and couldn't catch sleep..horrible..after 7 hours of journey we finally reach kuala terengganu bus station..it was still dark..after getting our luggages we were met by the staff of our resort..and we were ask to wait at the rest house for departure to the jetty..

Day 2 (12/5/07)

We were join by a group of people at the rest house..after washing up and changing into short pants..about 6.30am we were called to board the bus..so 4 of us excited went up and got our seats..and the late comers came in where there's no seat available..so their guide 'uncle woo' ask whether there's anybody don't belongs to his 40 persons group..so we went down embarassly and the situation was really funny because everyone can recognise us...boarding the wrong bus...pai seh!

So we went back to the rest house and waited for the next bus...around 730am we were able to board the bus to the jetty..i took nap in the bus..which is really helpful..guess it was around 9am we boarded the boat that carry us to the resort...it was alright...not too shaky..the journey took about an hour plus..then we boarded a smaller speed boat to the shore..yy was unlucky...when she was jumping down the boat, her sling bag fell into the water..which is sad..hahhaha..we were greeted by some ugly smell of garbage..donno where it belongs to..i felt some sorta different with the previous times..it was cloudy..very cloudy ..

Food we had almost the same everyday..

Dragged our luggage to the resort and check ourselves in..after settling down in the room..we headed down to rent our snorkelling gears from King (the guy we met in the bus station)...as the lunch is not ready yet..so we decided to share a cup noodle 1st..hehe..after that its lunch time! everyone swallowed down thier meals..went back room to prepare ourselves for the snorkelling at 2.30pm...

Boat ferried us to an area near the marine park for for snokelling...as yy,sy,pc went into the water first and im the last person..i got lost with them..i was pretty nervous at first...so the instructor 'rescued' me and drag me to snorkel with him..he taught me snorkel then bring me to beautiful sites and help me took some photos of various sea living stuff...it was pretty fun tho..

Around 4pm we reach the resort and after cleaning up we went for tea time..we had hot barley and some keropok ikan..finished off our food and we went for photo session..brought my tripod along..did a bit of shots around the beach and got interrupt by a bunch of guys...chit chatted and took a group picture of us & them..it was quite funny..hehe..



Took bath and get ready for our dinner..we decided to walk to Laguna area to take a look..it was very pretty and happening in that area...live music was pretty loud..took some pictures at the 'more more tea' house..and walk ourselves past the brige and reach the redang reef resort..and there we found the 'blue sand' that glows in the dark..miraculously pretty..just like the starry water in phuket i saw...on the way back to our resort..we went for supper cum yum cha in redang bay resort..ordered fried mee and kong fu chow..nice and damn cheap..but the drinks from another stall was pretty sux...and expensive too..

We were quite exhausted so we headed back to our room and retire for the nite..


Day 3 (13/05/07)

Not sure what they did in the morning cuz i was still in bed while they took breakfast for me to eat in the room..hahah..as usual la..quickly get up and prepared for the morning snorkel trip..this time we are goin to snorkel in marine park..tho i been there once but i din really snorkel last time..so this time me and yy were quite lucky cuz the boatman was kind enough to bring us snorkelling around the park..this time we saw many fishes and corals..had great time there..1130am we went back for lunch..

While waiting for our next snorkelling trip..me,yy and sy went to beach to camwhore..hahha..they were on the deck chairs..so i decided to teach sy to buid a chair in the sand..we dug and keep dugging..finally done! So we continue to camwhore until its time to leave..we took so many pictures there..

3rd snokelling was pretty boring and a bit hectic for me as the boatman is using a tyre to drag us -4 person...haha..nothing much to see..only 1 small little white anemone.. =( boatman ask us to look for him at 5pm so that he can bring us to see baby shark...today's tea time was goreng pisang and potato sweet soup...we waited for him after tea time..we went to the beach nearby and start to snorkel out the sea...it was quite a dangerous site cuz there're many rocks and too shallow..we did saw baby shark and something special..i forgot the name..i had pics in my underwater cam..after that we went back to return our gears..and chit chatted with Xiao hei and Uncle..we were being tutored by the instructor about fishes and his experience with the sea..sat there for about 30 minutes more..left and went bathing ,ready up for dinner..

our so called 'bbq' dinner was not really a self cooked bbq dinner..it was some fried chicken, bbq lambs and fish, some fried rice and noodles..we got pretty full tho..after dinner we went for karaoke session at the bar...the sound system sux lar..cant even hear my voice..we then hung around the beach it was around 10pm..the pub turn into the disco..so we bought drinks and sat at the corner for music..and the instructor saw us and dragged us into the dance floor..it was pretty fun at first and we all got heated up except for yy who sat there whole nite..we took pictures around and some guys intro themselves..lol..pc was pretty hot that nite..nyek..there was some incident happen in the middle so we decided to take a leave and get some fresh air at the beach..got back to room after that..


Day 4 (14/05/07)

I was the last to wake up as usual...they were out early to took some pictures..quickly pack our stuff and check ourselves out...had our last breakkie at the resort..left the resort in speed boat around 930am..we were late to hop on boat as a result we did not get good seats..i kena placed in the middle of the boat sitting on a metal box...the winds strikes SO HARD and the boat was like goin up and down..i feel extremely uncomfortable and felt like throwing up..this is something unexpected from me..i never had sea sick before..lucky it was a 30 minute trip..if not i could have thrown up in public..phew..boarded a 'taxi' headed to the office to get our bus tickets..

Our bus was schedule at 1pm..it was about 11am ...so we decided to leave our luggage in the rest house and went sightseeing around kuala terengganu...we walk to the famous china town in terengganu..im not sure whether we looks like some creature or what cuz everyone was staring at us while we walk...the sun was shining brightly here..damn..there's no sunlight in Redang! We then found a coffee shop in china town which sells small roti where they were featured in newspaper..so we decided to try 1 and shared together..it was pretty good..and not cheap tho..continued our journey down china town and took some pictures of the shops and the street gate..

after walking for some distance we got really exhausted and decided to have lunch..chia wai recommended a restaurant but walk and walk couldn't find it..but in the end we found it after so many 'yun wong lou'..hahah..we were quite surprise at first because its an indian shop looks like very baria without any customer...we walk in and greeted with thier boss..he's a very friendly person who speaks hokkien! lol..ordered nasi daun..which is banana leaf in kl..we had goreng ayam and mutton curry..the fried chicken was good..fresh from the kuali..heheh..after resting for a while we headed back to rest house and prepare ourselves for departure back to kl...

The bus we took was SANI EXPRESS..Please remember not to take this bus again! We took a freaking 8 hours ride back to KL..and did i tell u we took up the back row of the bus? SIAO ok?It was quite torturing..and here we ended our Girls only Redang Trip!

Don't know why i feel like blogging badly now..shit! Perhaps it was the 'lack of sleep' syndrome..i had about 4 hours sleep yesterday..and now its like 1230am..nobody is online at the moment..i donno wad shit im typing but i just wanna type! Okay..the two days holiday was as predicted..i was at home 2 farking days..doing nothing..bloody hell bored to death u know? Luckily i did went out for dinner and yumcha on the first nite..which caused me to sleep at 530am..and woke up at 645pm the other day..this reminds me of the year 2004 me..

I was browsing my stupid blog..and reading all those very old post..and it reminds me of every single thing and event that had happen..i clearly recall what i've done at that moment...this is why i need to blog often so that if one day i lost my memories..i can still look for it here..*ahem* enough of bullshit..

I feel like having a party for my birthday this year..maybe not as big as the previous one..still not sure whether its gonna 'on' ..hmm..what should i do? Recently i kinda have a long list of 'To Do' and 'To Shop'..and it makes me like so damn poor u know..where have my money gone??I even dare to carry only 7ringgits to shop and stuff..paiseh! You cant just get everything using your card..forget about it..

I've always dream of travelling to places..well here's a list of places that i wish to travel in the coming days..

1.Bali/Phuket (suppose to be on apr07 but the plan failed) (looking for travel partner)

4.NZ/Aus (CNY 08 maybe 2 weeks, if dad can sponsor ticket)

Im very glad that this coming may im travelling to Redang island with my girl friends..i hope it'll be a great trip! Looking at my calendar..i've spotted holidays on october..which is the hari raya holidays..well..im planning for some short visits..maybe u guys can gimme some ideas eh?

Okay..im looking forward to my precious 2 days public holiday on 1st and 2nd of May..Please call me out! I dont wish to spend at home..poor thing..

Hmm..i'll blog about my trip to Alor Star this time..i was visiting my net fren Azmi..this is my first daring attempt to meet a net fren that far..and so i fly over there on the 31st of march..

Sunday was having dinner at this Korean restaurant in Metro perdana again..called Or - Ju. Just like a small cafe to me..settle down at the side of the restaurant..ordered BBQ pork set and Spicy Roast Pork set each..each set comes with a soup,rice, cockles, kimchi, salad and main. Price starts from 10.90++ and above for a set. Quite affordable and friendly enviroment. Only complaint is that the pork given was very fat..other than that not much..there're also complimentary ginger tea/ice cream/green tea.

Last weekend wasn't that bad tho..friday went out for dinner..saturday yum cha with old friends..sunday was full day FAMILY day! Unbelievable? Believe it! Since i've not been a good girl for sometime..so i decided to bring my folks to movies..hahaha..what makes me laugh was..they both never went to cinemas before..what i mean was the ..they both look quite excited in the hall..lol..watch ghost rider again~ then continue with shopping and dinner..quite a ful filled day eh?

Friday nite was awesome cause i was meeting up with my college mates! After work was around 7 something..so drove straight to Bangsar to meet them up. Was pretty lucky to get a parking..Wee..After walking around for sometime finally we settled down in a cozy restaurant called Maredo's Argentina steakhouse at Telawi. Thank you We lee for the meal..

Oh yes..i left out a place to blog about..friday nite i went to a place in metro perdana? ok whatever is it..the name of the restaurant is Mi Zi or something..looks like a japanese shop but it wasn't...ah ha! Its a Taiwanese concept steamboat..its a 1 person 1 pot thingy..which is hygiene and Fun too..cuz u can do whatever to ur own pot of soup..u can order either a set or items a la carte..ingredients are fresh..no worries..price is affordable..pretty nice place to hang out as u can spend few hours there easily.. =)

Welcome 2007~

Well..its the first post for the year after MIA for 2 months..hehe..as usual i'll be reviewing my 2006 and also posting my resolution for 2007.So here it goes...

2006
-My 21st birthday party at home..met so many old friends..happy reunion
-Been through a real hard time for more than half of the year..it was the deepest that i've fall..i've recovered now
-Started my new job which is my current job..hated at first but it went well until now..
-Get to know a new bunch of friends and have great parties! Thanks for the support guys..
-Flown to Bangkok and Phuket..enjoyed too much!
-Get to know someone who helped me a lot and changed my life..
-Went to the restaurant that i've always been craving for..
-Put on weight...this is definately not a good thing..too many good food cant help!
-Got promoted as a leader in SGM..and been busy involving in meetings and activities..got to know many new friends through Junior group activities
-Got drunk in the club..which is a terrible experience
-An unforgetable christmas present..i nearly lost me..
-Often being ill...stubborn me who dont listen to ppl..

Had a really nice weekend...was lucky that i had a chance to tried out 3 different restaurants and cafes in 2 days...so now im gonna giv some reviews on them..

Eden Restaurant The Curve
Docor was Way too Simple..its so empty..i don't mean the occupancy..the ceiling is so high that it reflects sound...nothing looks like a western restaurant..more like a family cafe to me...there's not 'warmth'

Service was So so..the waiter can't really understands and speak English well..i wanted sour cream but given the ribs sauce..??! sour cream and lea & perrins requested were placed on a soya sauce plate?! huh?! fine..oriental eh?

My chef's recommended ribs taste really weird..served with thier 'special' sauce which tasted like satay + tomato sauce..i can hardly describe the taste..meat was tender but too bad..comtaminated by the sauce..twin terderloin for my sista in well done...not too bad..my dad had his lambchops..juicy as well..Yum..with my fav mint sauce..

Nice ambience...very English style...except that it was a bit crowded inside..

Food..oh well..more than a 100 things to choose from; 1 hard decision..i was scratching my head..my heart was kinda 1516..hahhaha..TOO many choices..but at last i chose an American breakfast look alike pancake..while he ordered a 'pannekeok'..oh whatever it spells..looks more like a pizza to me..juicy! Mine was kinda dry..it

It was Deeparaya holidays...nothing much have been done...as usual..went for junior meeting..but this time i've made egg mayo sandwiches along..recipe from a fren...taste really good...kinda like an achievement for me..hehe..happy!

Went for wedding dinner at legend hotel on saturday..it was the most disappointing dinner ever..hey ppl out there, please never pay them any visit..lousy lousy lousy

Met up with my cuzzy on sunday for karaoke...Neway was pretty! We were having such a great time there...enjoy so much...had dinner at BBQ plaza...nothing special..nothing great..catch up with the folks for movie later at nite...the movie was kinda dumb dumb la..but its okie la..something to entertain...

well 1st day of raya...early in the morning need to go for an emergency meeting...yawns..went home...got out again with a fren...went for exhibition...went to the mall..hang out til dinner time..back home accompany mom...

today...was procrastinating at my work...listening to Jazz,Opus,Nostalgia and Oldies channel on Astro...wow..i realise i've not been so relaxing for such a long time...i really like the feeling to be at home listening to some good music..i've found out that i've been so busy thesedays..i've missed out a lot of things...just wanna say sorry to u guys for not able to join the short trip...a fren told me that i've put on weight because of stress...is that true? stress makes me eat a lot? i wonder...

My mind is full of thoughts..full of memories..full of schedules... as u can see i always write things on my left hand..i can't remember things well..a gazillion of things queing up in my mind..which one comes first? which is the next?

Once i can't think of a solution..its always there..bothering me every single seconds..but lucky for me..there are PLENTY of work to do in the office..and that will takes away all my time...even my dinner time! Had cup noodles today..which i dun prefer it for dinner...drove past 10 different tolls to and from cheras..got home at 11++..great!

24 hours is just not enough!

Had a hectic week..its really really tiring..with all the meetings and more meetings..and heavy workloads...ouch..its killing me..

Doesn't have enough time for all my friends and family..sometimes i felt a lil guilty...and also i need a vacation badly..please..

i felt that i cant write any longer like my previous posts..might be my life is getting too peaceful without any ups and downs..do u think it is good to be like this? sleep,work,eat,drink...its all that i've been doin thesedays...as a result i've put on weight...consider this as a good thing??

Organising my company annual dinner cum trip by myself this time..cool eh? hehe..usual stuff for me as i've quite some experience on planning trips and dinner..location should be Malacca at the moment..im still doin some budgetting to get things done..wee..its goin to be october..time flies..and i hav shit hell lotsa stuff to do at work...and my stupid customer still doesn't want to pay up! F

Bitch is coming back on the 10th next month while fooi on next thursday..wow..shud i be happy for them?

Health as usual..deteriorate..as a result of hanging out too late i took an MC on friday..using the whole day visiting 3 doctors in a roll..great yea? hehe..and im not actually that 'sick' but since i got the time..so i might as well do it all in once..im trying to change my living habit in order to be healthier..

Will keep on trying learning and exploring new stuffs and friends...

Retail Therapy doesn't seem to work nowadays...yes..i did buy something..but it doesn't really make me happy...prefer talking to my sweetie and dearie..how i wish we are playing mahjong now...

Hectic weekend ended..and i've done nothing but spending...my saving plan is off again...damn..had a price check on the camera..i guess i'll bring daddy along to buy it..wanted to get a tattoo..went to the shop to check out and when i heard that sound..it horrified me..ran away but still considering...mission of getting a pair of shoe failed..sped a little on the way home..the breeze is always cooling near the greens..was listening Bittersweet Symphony on my phone..i felt great~i love the breeze..

Never in my life i have so much stress before..i am tired..physically and mentally...such messy projects were pass to me...i've had enough really..i wish i could run away but i couldn't..i've told myself that if i could overcome these problems..i'll grow..not disappointing dad and myself..why am i doing all these? yes..i do have a choice..but since i've choosen this path..so..no matter how hard..i'll try..thanks for my supportive colleagues and friends..i felt better..just doing my best..i hope i'll be fine as my health is deteriorating..sorry guys..i think im complaining too much recently..i do hope u guys can understand me..but..erm..well..its fine..since nobody knows wad my job does..

Sunday was purely for sleeping...alright..i went to had dinner with family again at Thai Express...see..im so 'guai'..haha..okay..the tom yum kung taste damn sour..its white tom yum anyway..the waiter said that it was spicy..but i feel Nothing!Sis's green curry was so 'packet-ise' like...mom's fried rice was too salty..and my Phat thai taste weird..i don't like Sweet Char Kuey Teow okay? The best was daddy's beef noodle..good soup base..

Grab some DVDs in pasar malam ended my day..u can see how bored are we without WC?

World Cup ended..It was a great nite at genting with new games and a new bunch of friends...had a blast there..you guys are GReat!

I need to go there again..!!!! Casino baby!!!

I can actually live a happening life! This is what i felt recently...world cup has make me so happy~~wEE..tho losing a bit of money..argh..who cares..its once every 4 years..i've been busy..seems to be lotsa stuff around..work..balls..friends..meetings..bla..im getting exhausted for not sleeping enough recently...yawns..1 more week until the final!!!!

Hi people!

My Bangkok trip was superb! Great place,great food and great people.Things are so so so cheap...u couldn't resist it..im so tanned now..with Loads of work to do..i've worked 7 days this week..CRaZy! There's just too much things to do...gah..i never had a good sleep for 1 week..im hella tired..recognition day at Mc this year was great...as least no formal events..just eat and play..haha..fun fun fun..took some pictures of the kids..they are so cute..hehe..im a bit sad cuz im goin to leave them 2days later...will miss them a lot...of course my great colleagues also..love them..still i need to have a conclusion for this job...if not i'll get killed again..ciao guys..tired!

Chinese New Year has finally came to an end...i will miss the Gambling time...mahjongs and blackjack...love it..earning more in 21point..haha..please do not stop gambling just because those ppl are botak...keep it on..keep it hot...YES WE LOVE YOU!

Finally got a chance to visit KL Hilton's restaurant..we had buffet dinner at Sudu..first class service...very good oysters and caviar..the rest was..erm..well..my main (pan seared duck breast) too raw for me...other small nicely plated food is not worth talking about...Although the design was refreshing but it doesn't give any comfort feeling to me...nicely separated bars, restaurant, lounge etc..very stylish reception...clean restrooms with frangrance of burning essential oil..good overall..

Not a wonderful dinner...something just gone missing...

Sorry guys..din blog for so long..my(dad) laptop was sent to fix..so im now using another laptop to get online..sad..was sick for a few days before Chinese New Year...one of the celebration i hate..i hate cleaning the house...goin 'bai nin'..balik kampung...bla..its all bored..besides that gambling is the greatest thing of all..love Mahjong especially..not really good, need somemore practise...everything is fine here in kampung..but really bored..spent most of the time sleeping..

Chor 4 the guys drove to kampar to fetch me and we started our journey to Ipoh around 2something..1st we went to have ice kacang in kampar town then went to have a look at gua tempurung..they seemed to be very interested..hang a while then continue to Ipoh...lotsa ppl at the Ipoh Chicken rice shop...super crowded...bought a bottle of so call famous soya milk..then went to walk around in the souvenir shop..everything was so pricey..(for tourist only)..then we drove around the area and look for the famous salted chicken...after that we drove around and search for kk's fav stall...'nam heong' coffee shop..tried the famous char koew teow..and also the Abolone soup chicken hor fan..real abalone soup..very nice but pricey..imagine it is more expensive than kl...after eating we drove back to kampar then we took all the bicycles and explore around the village...very fun cycling together..cc nearly kena langgar in a junction..lol..

At night was our gambling time..played 'in between' and '3 cards'..lose quite a lot..too bad...we celebrated mom's birthday...woo..happy..then it was 12something so we decided to go out for dinner/supper...when to new town area, the guys love the place so much..and so do i...things are cheap in kampar...sat until 1something we left and continue our card game and of course Mahjong..my favourite..stopped the game at about 5am..suppose to sleep in the air con room but then felt like sleeping in the living room had more fun...hehe..we chatted until 6something then we all fell asleep..

The next day woke up pretty early...10something..ate glutinous rice for breakfast..continue mahjong again..i won this time..hehe..left kampar about 1something...i miss the time we spend together..great trip..

Had a great time balik kampung attended my cousin's wedding...everything seems so fine..addicted to o2 jam recently..playing day n night...lol...crazy..work is so so so so so so StResS!!!! Its a new semester for all the students...office setting have been changed...and it makes hell lotsa mess...i despise working...now i need to work til 930pm instead of 9pm..oh god...im tired

Fireworks was superb at the curve...2005 ended with very little memories in my mind...wasn't a great year for me...did nothing ,achieve nothing...hopes and fears came to me...no resolutions..nothing...dun ever ask me about future..lost again!

My trip ended..Christmas ended..wasn't a great trip nor Christmas but then great experience...back to work..sick on day 1...bad flu...had annual dinner on wed nite at GB..ordered hell lotsa food but we are able to finish...almost everything double..the best thing was the deep fried soft shell crabs..it was heavenly yummy...unfortunately i cant eat more coz im too heaty...sobz..was quite full..im sure im goin to order all those stuff again...i missed pandan chicken, batter prawns, kerabu, satay, crabs..more more more..im hungry now..i guess i'll go make some sandwich..bye

Last saturday went for a buffet dinner in Sunway Resort hotel...ew..for the 3rd time..and this time is the suckiest one...less varieties plus taste so bad..but anyway i don't hav to pay for it..forget it..after dinner send sister to airport cuz she has to depart to Japan..waited for the check in stuff bla bla bla..grr..i hate group check in...wasting time...around 10pm said goodbye to her..and miss her..i hope she's getting me my shopping list...woohoo..

goin to singapore this christmas..hope i'll be having a good time and yes i wanna shop!...yawns..i gotta work tmr..ciao

Nice saturday night out with ex coll.mates...not a long gathering but definitely worth it..get to know thier recent life and stuff...then watched Narnia...it was great...

Its a hell day on sunday..went to rpm again then hav to rush back home coz fooi is goin to bring me to hospital to fetch my maid back...okay he was late and it ruined all my plannings...so i went home with my maid riding on a bus..imagine that..oh ya..we walked(with my heels) from tung shin hospital to the bus stop for half an hour then we took a bus home for like 50 minutes..and finally we reached home..fcuking the damn hold thing..y not take a cab? i asked myself...i dunno..? grr..who cares now..i had reached home..blah! btw it was a great experience walking around kl...mind u..its pretty dangerous out there..take care!

it was really unlucky and full of disappointment!
